Budget Analyst

About the Position: Serves as the senior Budget Analyst in the Resource Management Office performing a variety of budgetary and financial duties in the development of the District's Operating Budget, administration and control of funds and compliance with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) requirements.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Evaluating various data information and coordinate with internal offices to ensure estimates were consistent with program requirements, 2) Monitoring departmental operating budgets by tracking actual expenditures against allocations to identify variances AND 3) Preparing factual funding data to assist leadership with fund control. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
