Responsibilities: Interpret work orders and blueprints, mount and adjust tooling, calibrate machinery, and set parameters for optimal performance. Monitor product quality through embedded measurement systems, inspect extrusions, troubleshoot issues, and document production data using electronic systems like SAP. Support continuous improvement activities and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical aptitude; ability to interpret technical drawings; basic math and computer skills; experience with measurement tools; strong attention to detail; effective communication; teamwork skills. Previous manufacturing or plastics extrusion experience is preferred.
