Part-Time Grocery Porter

Role Overview: As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in warehouse and office areas to meet company and government standards. Your duties include cleaning warehouse aisles, spills, offices, bathrooms, and equipment, as well as handling product removal and recycling tasks. You will operate equipment such as pallet jacks and battery hoists, and ensure all areas are sanitized and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain warehouse and office spaces, including floors, windows, and fire extinguishers.
• Handle spill clean-up and product replacement, using cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collect and bale plastic wrap, manage trash, and perform routine sanitation duties.
• Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including fall protection when climbing.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance, safety-minded, and able to produce quality work.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to operate cleaning and material handling equipment.
• Strong time management and reliability.
