Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in designing and optimizing piping and mechanical systems for process-control environments involving liquids or gases.

• Lead the development and maintenance of facility piping systems, including component sizing and equipment selection.
• Use CFD, FEA, and other tools to model pressure, flow, and thermal effects, ensuring piping integrity under static and dynamic conditions.
• Develop and review mechanical and piping drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Plan and coordinate engineering projects, prepare cost estimates, and support procurement activities.
• Participate in safety reviews, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generate technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support troubleshooting efforts.
  
  

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in fluid dynamics, piping analysis, and familiarity with industry standards. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance and pass background and drug tests.
