Role: Escrow Officer responsible for preparing and managing all documents related to escrow processing, title conveyance, recording, and issuance of title insurance.
Responsibilities: Communicates with branch or escrow manager, clears title demands/releases, drafts instructions, audits and closes files, disburses funds, estimates closing costs, reviews title reports, reconciles discrepancies, orders beneficiary statements and prorated items, prepares settlement sheets, trains and supervises staff, maintains confidentiality, and ensures compliance with escrow procedures and laws.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 3 years escrow experience, supervisory experience preferred, valid notary license, valid driver’s license and transportation.
Key Duties: Develops business using marketing and customer service, manages escrow transactions from start to finish, guides team members, and upholds escrow accounting practices.
Note: Compensation ranges from $28.29 to $44 per hour, with potential bonuses and commissions. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), paid leave, education and adoption assistance, vacation, holidays, and employee discounts.
