Work load & Projects -
Our shop does not have a 'slow' season. We maintain many commercial buildings & residential homes throughout Long Island, always providing steady work to our team. Smaller clients are always building or renovating projects and include us in their builds. Electricians and junior mechanics can work overtime weekly if they choose.
Currently contracted work into 2027 with nice commercial store build outs and a new large residential housing complexes. We bid projects every week guaranteeing work for our team.
Job responsibilities -
- Installation of EMT & PVC conduit, M/C, THHN & NMC cable, metal & plastic boxes, panels, meter pans, overhead & underground services.
- Installation & wiring of devices such as switches, receptacles, GFCI's & more.
- Installation & wiring of Light fixtures, occupancy sensors & LCP's.
- Installation of services, wiring of panels and branch circuits.
- Reading drawings and laying out work areas.
- Troubleshooting, service calls & repairs.
- Using electrical test equipment, hand and power tools.
- Must be motivated, responsible and reliable - have attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
