Software Delivery Coordinator

Software Delivery Coordinator

As a Software Delivery Coordinator, you will support software and product delivery across a portfolio of technology and product development initiatives. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage release activities, establish priorities, and ensure required deliverables are aligned to product launch schedules. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with technical teams, and able to take information from multiple sources and turn it into clear plans, schedules, and actions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery activities across multiple software, engineering, product, and technology teams.
• Drive alignment across engineering, product, program, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support successful product and software releases.
• Collect information from contributors to identify required release artifacts, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring all components are complete and work together as intended.
• Develop and maintain release management artifacts, including configuration files, release documentation, software payloads, and compatibility information.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings related to delivery schedules, release planning, change management, design reviews, defect reviews, and release reviews.
• Collect key information from feature teams and project managers to develop schedules and track progress toward critical launch dates.
• Work with project and delivery managers to develop and maintain macro-level project schedules.
• Partner with product owners and technical leaders to establish feature and defect priorities for upcoming releases and ensure deliverables remain aligned with the overall timeline.
• Maintain software compatibility information and release packages to support product launches.
• Develop and maintain project tracking and support tools to improve visibility into delivery status, dependencies, and risks.
• Communicate release and schedule information to stakeholders to support product launch activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, tools, and workflows for managing software and product deliveries.
• Coordinate and facilitate company or organizational meetings as needed.
• Proactively identify schedule risks, gaps, dependencies, and communication issues and drive them toward resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating projects, programs, software releases, engineering activities, or other cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• Ability to gather information from multiple teams and translate it into clear schedules, action items, priorities, and deliverables.
• Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding software development and release processes.
• Basic ability to work with structured data and configuration files such as JSON.
• Experience with project tracking, collaboration, or document management tools.
• Ability to proactively identify issues and drive follow-up without requiring extensive direction.4

• Comfortable facilitating discussions, documenting decisions, and holding teams accountable to commitments.
• Experience working in an Agile software development or product development environment is desired.
• Experience with software release management, product launches, or technology-driven product development is a plus.

Pay Range: $60,000-$100,000 – Commensurate with experience
