What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer II/III position at RFA Engineering?
RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate out of our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility in Sanford, NC.

Mechanical Engineer II/III
As a Mechanical Engineer you will utilize Creo for design software to implement new and improved design solutions on the CTL/SSL equipment for the Cab Team. Experience with TeamCenter database manager is a plus.
Job Description
- Provide design support for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Current Production.
- Investigate, gather and analyze data and implement solutions.
- Continuous improvements in cost, quality, safety and ergonomics.
- Non-metalics (plastics) design experience a plus.
- Some time may occasionally be spent on the production line for trouble shooting as productions problems arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude through work experience or hobbies.
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- CAD modeling experience (Creo preferred)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Desired Experience
- Experience in a production environment working with cross functional teams.
- Interpersonal & communication skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, fabrication, inventory management, supply chain/logistics, or assembly operations.
- Microsoft Excel proficient.
- 3 years post education relevant experience.

Pay Range: $67,500-$95,000 - Commensurate with experience.
