Overview
This is a full-time role for a Bookkeeper/Accountant at Rezzar Demolition, LLC in Algonquin, IL. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial health of Rezzar Demolition LLC by maintaining comprehensive job cost records for a diverse array of construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payment processing, oversee contract documentation, and provide essential analysis and reconciliation for job cost reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage office communications including phone calls, emails, and correspondence with clients and vendors.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all documents are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Handle weekly payroll processing, including certified payroll for relevant projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all team members.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable as well as generate and review expense and other financial reports.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Hands-on experience using QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial tasks.
- Bookkeeping Training: Preferred candidates will have completed a bookkeeping certification program or possess prior work experience as a bookkeeper.
- Notary License required.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail in all written communications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience working with unions.
