This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire hybrid position that reports onsite in Birmingham, AL.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance web-based applications using modern frontend languages within a modern software development environment.
- Build new functionality and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of existing applications and platforms.
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services to support application functionality and data flow.
- Participate in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, testing, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Develop and execute unit tests, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure code meets established quality and development standards.
- Work closely with developers, product teams, analysts, and other technical stakeholders to coordinate development efforts and resolve technical dependencies.
- Clearly communicate technical solutions, development progress, and project considerations to both technical and non-technical team members.
Position Requirements:
- 3–8 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on frontend application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, including developing and implementing application features from the ground up.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript and/or modern frontend development practices.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting application code independently.
- Strong coding, problem-solving, and analytical abilities with the ability to discuss previous projects and technical decisions in detail.
- Additional backend development experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
