What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater Mechanic position at Rezkom?
Overall Responsibility:
Effectively train new hires and/or re-train maintenance mechanics and porters on an as needed basis for all policies, procedures and best practices for clients. Learn all property sites to ensure adequate training, set proper tone and expectations.
·Perform the following tasks:
o Repair/replace minor damage to wood trim, shutters, gutters, roofing, siding, concrete, curbing, breezeways, railings, fences, playground equipment, etc.
o Repair, replace, and straighten signs
o Pick up wind blown trash on grounds & organize dumpsters and recycling areas
o Clean and set up clubhouse
o Complete lighting inspections
o Keep work and storage areas clean, safe, and secure
o Assist Regional Manager or Property Manager with all other aspects of property maintenance, including but not limited to, covering hours and responsibilities for lower-level employees when the need arises (e.g., porter coverage for contractual clients, handling emergency calls, etc.)
