What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper/Pool Towel Attendant (Full Time Temporary - Summer 2026) position at Reynolds Lake Oconee?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Removal of dirty towels from Pool Area.
- Delivery of towels to and from pools to Central Services.
- Removal of trash/waste from the Pool areas.
- Stock supplies and maintain warehouse
- Laundry (such as washes, dries, and folds room and table linen by following prescribed methods and procedures for washing, drying, folding, and sorting operations)
- Maintain the laundry equipment as needed
- Maintain van cleanliness
- Maintains a clean, pleasant, and neat image
- Communicate with supervisors regarding work issues or concerns
- Interact and assist guests and members as needed, i.e. plunging toilets, television remote operation
Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs
- Reports safety or hazard concerns to management
- Reports any on the job injury to management
- Takes personal responsibility for safety every day
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:
- Some work experience desired, but will train
- Requires ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 90% of the day
- Able to withstand varying weather conditions
- Congenial personality; able to interact well with others
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to climb and descend stairs on a regular basis
- Able to work well without constant supervision
