Responsibilities

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our facility shop in West Dundee, IL.

Shift:Â

Full-Time l Midday-Monday-Friday 12:00PM-8:30PM

Pay$25.00-$28.00/HR based on experince/qualifications

Position Responsibilities:Â

• The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as neededÂ
• As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenanceÂ
• You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration
• You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machineryÂ
• You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devicesÂ
• Other duties as assignedÂ
  
  

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:Â

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experienceÂ
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 poundsÂ
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
