Responsibilities

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our facility shop in McCook, IL.

Shift:Â

Full-Time l 3rd Shift -Wednesday-Saturday 10:00PM-8:30AM OFF Sunday-Tuesday!

PayStarts at $31.00-$35.00/HR additional pay for shift differentialÂ

Additional CDL Incentive Pay ($1.00 with active CDL A or B license)

Position Responsibilities

• The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systemsÂ
• As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks systemÂ
• You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service callsÂ
• You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"Â
• You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)Â
• You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safetyÂ

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:Â

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experienceÂ
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 poundsÂ
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
