Rex Systems Incorporated (RSI) is looking for a full-time hourly Electronic Test Technician to add to our team. RSI is a small employer with a unique niche in supporting our U.S. Military and foreign allies for over 53 years.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform tests on electronic assemblies using product schematics, diagrams and available test procedures
- Troubleshoot circuit boards to component level
- Knowledge of oscilloscopes, DMM and other test equipment
- Read and understand schematic diagrams
- Participate in corrective action processes with the manufacturing, purchasing, quality and other related departments
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions
- Assist with testing and inspection methods utilizing knowledge of product design, material, assembly methods and quality standards
- High level of attention to detail and critical thinking ability
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Strives for continuous improvement of testing methods
- Practice and maintain a safe work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Performs other additional duties as required
DESIRED SOFTWARE/PROGRAM KNOWLEDGE
- National Instruments “Labview” test software
- Programming language (C , C , ETC.)
- Autodesk Eagle
- CAD experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2-year degree in electronics and/or
- Equivalent work experience (3-5 years)
- Experience with troubleshooting printed circuit assemblies down to component level
- Knowledge of electrical components and properties
- Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in an electronics manufacturing environment
This is a full-time hourly position working Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, qualifying for full-time benefits.
