Electronic Test Technician

Rex Systems Incorporated (RSI) is looking for a full-time hourly Electronic Test Technician to add to our team. RSI is a small employer with a unique niche in supporting our U.S. Military and foreign allies for over 53 years.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform tests on electronic assemblies using product schematics, diagrams and available test procedures
• Troubleshoot circuit boards to component level
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, DMM and other test equipment
• Read and understand schematic diagrams
• Participate in corrective action processes with the manufacturing, purchasing, quality and other related departments
• Ability to read and understand basic work instructions
• Assist with testing and inspection methods utilizing knowledge of product design, material, assembly methods and quality standards
• High level of attention to detail and critical thinking ability
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Strives for continuous improvement of testing methods
• Practice and maintain a safe work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Performs other additional duties as required

DESIRED SOFTWARE/PROGRAM KNOWLEDGE

• National Instruments “Labview” test software
• Programming language (C , C , ETC.)
• Autodesk Eagle
• CAD experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 2-year degree in electronics and/or
• Equivalent work experience (3-5 years)
• Experience with troubleshooting printed circuit assemblies down to component level
• Knowledge of electrical components and properties
• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Ability to work in an electronics manufacturing environment

This is a full-time hourly position working Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, qualifying for full-time benefits.
