What are the responsibilities and job description for the ELECTRICIAN position at REX COLLINS ELECTRIC, INC?
We are an electrical contractor located in Marion, Indiana with over 35 year's experience. We specialize in commercial, industrial, agricultural, design & build and bid spec projects. . We also utilize ABC of Indiana Apprenticeship for our training needs.
We have openings for the following:
Electrician's with a minimum 2 year experience
Electrical Apprentice
Commercial Electricians
Industrial Electricians
System Technicians for Fire Alarm, Telecom, CCTV Systems, and Security
Industrial Programming and Control Electricians
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good Work History
- Use of basic tools
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record (must be insurable by our company's vehicle insurance provider).
- Be able to work at various heights and in various climates (indoor & outdoor year round)
- Carry, set up and perform necessary tasks from a ladder or lifts
- Maintain a clean presentable personal image to the customer while on a job site
- Interact with and around general public and in commercial environments during and outside of normal business hours.
- Must be able to understand and carry out basic instruction while performing manual labor related tasks.
- Must be able to successfully use basic math, writing, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects
- Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements and Working conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to move parts in excess of 100 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Job requires you to be able to sit, stand, walk, climbing, reaching, kneeling, crawling, squatting, bending and stooping.
