About The Role
The CDL Driver III will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, flatbeds, roll-off units, and walking floor trailers. This position is regional and will require overnight travel as part of the weekly schedule.

About The Role
The CDL Driver III will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, flatbeds, roll-off units, and walking floor trailers. This position is regional and will require overnight travel as part of the weekly schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to DOT regulations.
- Operate specialized pump equipment to load, unload, and disperse cargo or materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
- Complete all administrative tasks related to transportation, manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, delivery receipts, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure all placarding meets DOT regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
- Mentor and assist in training other drivers as needed.
- Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic instructions.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience, including tanker driving.
- CDL Class A license.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
- Must be fully capable of operating a manual transmission and cannot have any CDL restrictions preventing the operation of manual vehicles.
- Acceptable driving record with the ability to follow written and verbal geographic directions.
- Ability to work a regional schedule that includes regular overnight travel
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to grab, grip, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to consistently work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to meet visual and hearing requirements for safe vehicle operation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
