Rework Capital is one of the fastest growing Fractional Financial Consulting Firms in the country. We're in a strong regional to national acquisition phase of acquiring tax practices. We are a thriving and growing Consultative Advisory Firm currently providing business financial planning and analysis, tax preparation and planning, brokerage for buying and selling businesses, and a legal practice that supports those activities. We are looking for a Sr. Tax Accountant to join our team in Sarasota, FL.
This is an onsite job and will only be considering candidates living in the Sarasota area.
We're embarking upon an explosive growth plan to build our business into the $100 million national level. To help us get there we are seeking an exceptional Sr. Tax Accountant to help our partner running the Tax Practice to continue to build, supervise, and lead tax engagements. You'll have responsibility for doing over 200 returns per year - split evenly between corporate and personal returns for high net worth individuals and business owners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- CPA
- 6 years of progressive experience in tax accounting or public accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns
- Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
