Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models, including Asian, Domestic, and European brands. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs the first time.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, mechanical, suspension, steering, brake, and HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and factory scheduled maintenance.
- Utilize diagnostic scan tools and service information systems to accurately identify vehicle faults.
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, cooling systems, suspension components, and electrical systems.
- Perform alignments and suspension repairs.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections after repairs.
- Document findings, repair recommendations, and completed work accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle conditions and repair needs.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to perform repairs independently.
- Own professional hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- ASE Certifications.
- Experience with European a plus
- Experience using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with factory service information systems.
