Account Executive aka Business Development Manager

Our client is an engineering services company supporting a variety of clients in automotive, aerospace, consumer products and emerging tech sectors. They were established in 1998 to support teams in open wheel racing and have since expanded into multiple industries. Their strength comes from combining engineering disciplines with their racing background to provide effective and fast solutions to their clients.
About the Role
As the Account Executive you will own the sales strategy and revenue generation functions. You will expand our client's presence into new markets and strengthen relationships across a diverse client base. You will work in partnership with their Engineers to create cutting edge solutions for their clients.
Pay range and compensation package
- Base salary: $75,000 - $125,000 commission
- Medical Insurance Available
- 401K Available
Responsibilities
- Find new business and explore new markets through outbound channels
- Identify, pursue, and grow opportunities across multiple industries
- Introduce our client's capabilities to OEMs, tier suppliers, startups, and R&D groups
- Develop proposals, manage sales cycles, and coordinate with internal engineering teams
- Understand industry trends and translate them into new service opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or previous experience in Technical Sales
- 3 - 4 years of prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to adapt technical solutions to industry-specific needs
Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
