Position Summary
The Cloud Architect and Infrastructure Lead provides expert knowledge of AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support. This position designs, implements, and maintains secure, scalable cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with DoD architectural frameworks and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support
- Design and manage MC&FP IT and cloud architectural roadmaps
- Research, identify, and recommend emerging technologies and FedRAMP-compliant cloud services
- Architect and deploy secure IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS capabilities
- Design secure, scalable, multi-tenant service-oriented architectures
- Support cloud migration initiatives and application modernization efforts
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system failures and technical difficulties
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and minimal service disruption
- Apply DevSecOps and Agile development methodologies
- Maintain compliance with DoD CC SRG and FedRAMP requirements
- Provide 24/7/365 Tier 3 response to infrastructure issues
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of DoD or Federal IT Architecture and/or Infrastructure experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS GovCloud architecture and infrastructure support
- One of the following certifications: CGRC, Security , CISM, CISSP, CASP , or GSLC
- Possess a minimum of a favorably adjudicated Tier 5 security investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting cloud architecture in DevSecOps and Agile environments
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles and implementation
Pay: $155,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
