We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to oversee apartment unit turns and general construction projects within our clients residential communities. This role involves efficiently preparing apartments for new residents by coordinating repairs, renovations, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and supervisory skills to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely project completion. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute apartment unit turnovers, including painting, flooring, drywall repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation
- Perform general construction tasks such as framing, painting, drywall installation, tile, LVP Flooring, carpentry, and minor roofing repairs
- Supervise maintenance teams and subcontractors to ensure safety standards and quality expectations are met
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams for electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders, inspections, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all construction activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally
- Lead project planning sessions, assign tasks effectively, and supervise progress to meet deadlines
- Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or general construction within residential or commercial settings
- Supervising experience leading teams or subcontractors on renovation or turn projects
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical systems troubleshooting
- Background in manufacturing or facilities management preferred but not required
- Strong leadership abilities combined with excellent communication skills in English & Spanish
- Knowledge of CMMS software for work order tracking and maintenance documentation
