What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESTIMATOR position at Revolv Manufacturing, Inc.?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Estimator will work directly and indirectly with vendors, customers, production and sales personnel, to aid in, clarify, and or ensure completion of quotes and BOM Maintenance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Quoting new and existing manufacturing projects
- Sourcing new components
- BOM/IQ Maintenance
- Performing cost analysis
- Tooling/fixture projects
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cost estimating of new parts
- Requoting of existing parts
- Providing timely quote updates to Sales and Internal stakeholders
- BOM Maintenance in IQMS
- Review prints to determine requirements and identify needed changes
- Support effort toward ISO compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the APQP process
- Work with Process Engineer on actual vs quoted efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experienced with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Familiar with blueprint evaluation
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritize
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (IQMS preferred)
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, related field or equivalent.
