CNC Mill/Lathe Operator

RMD is looking to expand in the next few years, and needs a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator with a fast paced job shop environment. We make Automation Parts, low volume, High Precision products. RMD has an aggressive and progressive mindset - if you are able to do basic parts, and want a better understanding of how to do complex parts. We are willing to train, but hope you come in with moderate level understanding of CNC machining practices and know how to measure things and operate Haas Machinery. We use Mastercam, if you are looking to learn how to use it, I will train you.

Skills

• CNC Mill/Lathe operation experience (DM-2, ST-20)
• Ability to read blueprints
• General shop work experience
• Machine tool knowledge
• Knowledge and experience using inspection equipment is a bonus
• General computer knowledge and willingness/aptitude to learn new technologies
• CNC Lathe operation experience (ST-20)
• Maintenance experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Run ST-20 and DM-2 as needed using Programs from the Shop Manager, or Owner.
• LEARN from the current employees. RMD stresses and encourages you to learn as much as possible while being a part of a team.

We will train you on the lathe and mill controllers, as well as teach you setup and operation of a CNC machine. We intend for this to be a career path for you, and the more you can learn, the higher the pay range.

This position is a full-time daytime position or second shift position. Hours of operation are from 6AM-5PM Monday-Friday. We prefer an employee that can work hours of 6AM-2PM. Overtime is possible if you are able to handle yourself, and you'll manage your own hours.

$20-$25 per hour depending on experience.

If you can do your own programs using Mastercam, set up, and operate the machinery, you'd get the higher end of the pay. Please apply today if you are a fit.
