What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water System Operator position at Revolution?
Revolution is now hiring for a Night-Shift Water System Operator position in Flint, MI. This role will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the water treatment system supporting the wash line.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to all safety incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and reporting procedures.
- Monitor and make appropriate adjustments to optimize water quality.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment in changing and dealing with chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plant and surrounding areas.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Maintain communication channels with team members on duty.
- Learn to run and make adjustments to the wash line and extrusion equipment.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, or GED required.
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Perform well in a customer-driven, safety-conscious organization.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to work weekends and/or shifts with a strong work ethic and employment history.
