What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Material Handler position at Revolution?
Revolution is now hiring for a Shipping Material Handler position in Hudson, WI. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. This position is a full-time permanent role with a competitive benefits package in a clean and safe working environment.
- Accurately record and put inventory away
- Maintain clean and organized workspace.
- Responsible for the product transportation between the plant and the shipping warehouse.
- Inspect trucks prior to loading to ensure safety compliance.
- Stage Orders prior to shipping.
- Pull Orders when ready to ship.
- Verify trucks are loaded with correct product.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
- CDL preferred but not required.
- Work flexible schedule (possibly nights, weekends, holidays) when needed.
- Ability to perform well in a customer-driven, safety-conscious organization.
- Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive a forklift and multitask.
- Ability to learn ERP systems and willingness to learn the computer side of the job.
- Being able to sit and stand throughout the day.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
- Exposure to heat and cold.
- Exposure to noise and machinery.
