We're looking for a self-motivated, dedicated and hardworking individual to fill this position as an Installation Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing internet, tv and wireless networking equipment/ fiber optic cables, ensuring reliable and high-quality internet and communication services for our customers.
The ideal candidate will float around western Montana with a base location in Butte.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and equipment, both overhead and underground
- Connect fiber optic cables to residential customer homes
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices
- Maintain accurate records of installations and equipment
- Work collaboratively with other team members
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience in fiber optic installation or related field is preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
