We’re hiring a Structural Design Technician to support advanced manufacturing and semiconductor projects in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite). This role focuses on developing 3D structural models and construction-ready documentation while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop 3D structural models (Revit) from sketches and engineering input
• Produce structural plans, details, and construction documents
• Ensure accuracy, QA/QC, and standards compliance
• Coordinate with MEP and architectural teams
• Lead small design teams, manage tasks, and track progress
• Support clash detection and model reviews (Navisworks/Bluebeam)
Requirements:
• Associate degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent
• 5 years structural design/drafting experience
• 3 years Revit experience
• Experience with 3D modeling and construction documentation
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Must live within 50 miles of a Jacobs office (hybrid role)
Preferred: Tekla, SmartPlant, industrial/semiconductor project experience
