Sr Advanced Systems Engineer
Pittsfield, MA
(This position is fully on-site or hybrid/flex with a minimum of 3 days/week in office.)
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience;
- OR Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
DoD CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
- As an Infrastructure Hardware Systems engineer for Surface Systems, you’ll be a member of an agile team responsible for delivering a robust, flexible, secure, and stable infrastructure for U.S. Navy surface ships.
- You will develop and configure common solutions to complex problems, test and troubleshoot in a lab environment, and create documentation to support a rigorous engineering process.
- You'll meet with your team daily to collaborate and problem solve to ensure we meet our commitments to the U.S. Navy mission.

- Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring schematics, parts lists or rack layouts
- Troubleshooting computing hardware issues in a lab or customer site
- Developing schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer
