We’re hiring a Senior Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and test algorithms, flight software, simulations, and related systems for aerospace vehicles. You’ll evaluate flight performance and vehicle capabilities and work with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Skills:
Must-haves:
- Thorough understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Advanced experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with system modeling tools, such as MATLAB/Simulink, or C .
- Experience with related aerospace vehicles, sensors suites, and missions.
- Experience with Guidance and/or Navigation algorithm development.
- Exposure to vehicle stability principles, and Monte Carlo and trajectory analysis.
- Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, fundamentals of flight dynamics.
- Past history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternatives.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
