What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installer position at Revolution Solar?
Revolution Solar is seeking experienced solar installation technicians to join our rapidly growing company. We hire at 4 different levels depending on experience.
Installer I. This is for trainees with no solar experience. This requires good over all tool knowledge and some construction experience. Trainees have 90 days as an installer one and must qualify as an installer 2 within the first 90 days. $20 to $25 per hour.
Installer II. This is for experienced solar installers that have good general knowledge of the overall install process. This position offers incentive pay for safety and quality of work. $27.50 to $43.00 per hour.
Installer III. This is for experienced solar installers than can lay out and install a system with no outside knowledge or support. You know the job from A to Z. This job offers incentive pay for safety and quality. $29 to $45 per hour.
Crew Lead. This is for experienced solar installers with supervisory and troubleshooting experience. This positions offers incentive pay for safety and quality. $32 to $48 per hour.
This is residential rooftop solar. We work year round.
To qualify for this opportunity you must have no fear of heights, be able follow all safety guidelines, a working knowledge of tools and be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures.
While solar experience is a huge plus it is not required. The higher end of the pay ranges are for solar experienced Installers
Roofing, HVAC, Iron Workers, Satellite and cable installers are good skills to have for this role.
Electricians will be given high priority and enhanced hourly pay..
