Quality Assurance Coordinator – Food Manufacturing
Location: =Appleton, WI
Schedule: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM (2-2-3 Nonrotating)
Overview:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of the SQF system, ensuring all quality and food safety standards are met. This role works closely with the SQF Practitioner to uphold compliance, record accuracy, and continuous improvement across quality programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Record, verify, and maintain all food safety and quality data.

Support SQF documentation, audits, and compliance programs.

Manage product holds, preventive maintenance, and quality attributes.

Assist with calibration, supplier verification, and chemical control programs.

Maintain and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for suppliers and co-manufacturers.

Support complaint management, corrective actions, and internal audits.

Create purchase orders for quality and sanitation supplies.

Help organize employee training and maintain training records.

Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Associate degree in a science-related field.

3 years of QA experience in food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, FDA, and related food safety systems.

Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle exposure to typical plant conditions.
