JOB OVERVIEW for the FedEx Linehaul Team:
FedEx is seeking a dedicated team of professional commercial truck drivers to operate a dedicated linehaul route between Plain City and Ocala, Florida, with backhaul stops in Savannah, GA. This role involves over-the-road (OTR) driving on established routes, adhering to DOT regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating a brand-new Freightliner truck, with scheduled departures and returns aligned with a consistent weekly pattern. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a reliable team supporting FedEx's logistics network on a dedicated route.
The Team is paid .90 CPM Team split on around 5000 Miles per week, additional pay to include:
- Drop and Hook Pay
- .5 CPM per mile Safety Bonus
JOB DUTIES for the FedEx Linehaul Team:
- Operate a commercial Freightliner truck on over-the-road (OTR) routes between Plain City and Florida, with stops in Savannah, GA every other day.
- Ensure timely departure from Plain City around 2 am and complete deliveries to Ocala, Florida, with scheduled returns by approximately 2:00 pm.
- Follow a consistent schedule: departing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday one week; Tuesday and Thursday the next week. (So 2 one week and 3 the other week, with 2 plus days off in a row per week, MOSTLY WEEKENDS!
PROVEN SKILLS the FedEx Linehaul Team must have:
- Class A CDL
- Doubles Endorsement
- 1 Year Class A Experience
Pay: Up to $2,250.00 per week
