What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse and Production Technician position at Revolution Event Production?
Warehouse & Production Technician
Folcroft, PA | Part Time Hourly Position with Opportunity for Full-Time Employment
$22-28/hour Based on Experience
About Revolution Event Production
At Revolution Event Production, we design and produce exceptional live, virtual, and hybrid events, from concept through showtime.
Our team delivers professional lighting, audio, video, staging, scenic, drape, and rigging services for events of every size. We have built our reputation on production quality, organization, efficiency, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
We’re a small but fast-growing production company where everyone plays an important role. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for dependable people who want to build a career, not just find another warehouse job.
About the Role
The warehouse is where every Revolution project begins and ends.
This is an active, hands-on position where you’ll spend your day preparing equipment, loading trucks, receiving returning gear, organizing inventory, and helping keep our production operation running smoothly.
While this is first and foremost a warehouse position, you’ll work every day with professional lighting, audio, video, staging, and rigging equipment that powers our live events.
We are initially hiring on a part-time hourly basis to support our growing workload. Team members who consistently demonstrate reliability, initiative, and strong performance may have opportunities for increased responsibility and future full-time employment as the company continues to grow.
Previous event-production experience is a plus, but it isn't required. We're happy to train someone with the right work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, pulling, packing, and staging equipment for upcoming events
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
- Receiving, inspecting, and resetting equipment after events
- Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
- Assisting with inventory organization, equipment tracking, and basic maintenance
- Identifying missing, damaged, or questionable equipment before it affects a project
- Supporting changing priorities while meeting project deadlines
What Success Looks Like
You’ll be successful in this role if you:
- Prepare equipment accurately and on schedule
- Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Take ownership of your work and continue improving
- Communicate well and identify problems
- Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse that is always ready for the next project
- Are dependable, punctual and self-motivated
- Are organized and detail-oriented
We don’t expect you to know everything on day one. We do expect you to learn, improve, and become more independent over time.
Experience We Value
We don’t expect anyone to have experience in all these fields, but you’ll be a good fit if you have some experience with:
- Theatre, live events, stage-handing, or professional lighting and AV systems.
- Warehouse operations and truck loading
- Driving vans and/or box trucks (or willingness to learn)
- Equipment rental
- Scenic carpentry
- Basic power tools
- Working in a physical, hands-on, fast paced environment
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds and be on your feet most of the day
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to our Folcroft, PA warehouse
- Ability to work safely in a physical warehouse environment
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to follow established procedures and quality standards
Growth at Revolution
Success in this position starts with mastering the warehouse.
As you gain experience and demonstrate reliability, initiative, and technical aptitude, you’ll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility in areas such as:
- Project fulfillment and inventory management
- Equipment testing and maintenance
- Greater knowledge of up-to-date professional lighting, audio, and video systems
- Networking and production technology
- Production logistics
- Warehouse leadership
- Selected field and event-production opportunities
Growth at Revolution is earned through performance—not simply time on the job. We invest in people who consistently demonstrate ownership, professionalism, and a desire to learn.
Why Revolution?
Working in our warehouse gives you a front-row seat to how professional live events are built.
You’ll work with industry professionals and the equipment and systems behind concerts, corporate events, galas, weddings, and live entertainment productions while learning how projects move from planning to execution and back again.
If you’re dependable, enjoy physical work, like learning new technology, and want to grow with a company that values quality and professionalism, we’d love to meet you.
