Revolution Concrete Mixers is expanding and launching a new manufacturing facility in Waverly, IA. This site will play a critical role in supporting our growing customer base and represents a major investment in innovation, quality, and community.

We’re looking for experienced Paint Prep who wants to be a part of growing our business.
Our production team will run on a 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm), with potential opportunities for overtime on Fridays.

What You’ll Do
Paint Prep is responsible for preparing manufactured parts and surfaces for painting or coating processes. This role ensures that all components meet quality standards by performing cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspection tasks prior to finishing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You Bring
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
· Prepare parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and grinding as required
·Mask and tape areas that must not be painted, following technical drawings or work instructions
·Inspect parts for defects, damage, or contamination prior to paint application
·Operate and maintain prep equipment such as sanders, grinders, and wash stations
·Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent contamination or damage
·Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
·Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S or similar standards
·Assist painters and production staff as needed to meet daily output targets
·Complete required documentation and quality checklists accurately
Minimum Qualification
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
·Previous experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or paint prep environment is an asset
·Familiarity with hand and power tools (sanders, grinders, etc.)
·Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
·Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic technical drawings
·Good physical stamina: able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
·Team-oriented with good communication skills
Working Conditions:
·Manufacturing/industrial environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and noise
·Use of PPE such as respirators, gloves, and safety glasses required
·May involve repetitive tasks and manual handling
