DISMANTLER
Revolution Auto Parts Yard Operations
If you know how to take a car apart — we'll pay you to do it.
At Revolution Auto Parts, our Dismantlers are the engine of the operation. You're the first hands on every vehicle — and the speed, skill, and care you bring directly impacts what we can sell, what we can grade, and what reaches our customers. This is a production role, which means the harder and smarter you work, the more you earn.
What You Can Expect
- Production-based pay — your output drives your earnings, not just the clock
- Monday – Friday schedule, starting as early as 6:30 AM
- Outdoor yard environment — hands-on, physical, and fast-paced
- A team that respects people who know what they're doing and get it done
What You'll Be Doing
- Dismantling vehicles efficiently and safely to extract sellable parts
- Using hand and power tools to remove parts including engines, transmissions, doors, trim, and electrical components
- Handling parts with care — how you pull directly affects the grade and value of what you pull
- Staging and organizing removed parts for inspection and inventory
- Working safely around heavy vehicles, fluids, and equipment at all times
- Keeping your work area clean and following proper disposal procedures for hazardous materials
- Meeting daily production targets — pace and accuracy both matter here
What Success Looks Like
- Pulls parts clean — minimal damage, correct technique, consistent results
- Knows what's worth pulling and what isn't — doesn't waste time on non-sellable parts
- Moves with purpose — works fast without cutting corners on safety or quality
- Keeps pace with production targets shift after shift, not just on good days
- Communicates issues with vehicles, tools, or the yard proactively
- Takes ownership of output — understands that their hustle directly affects their paycheck
Who Thrives Here
- Someone who knows their way around a vehicle — formally trained or self-taught
- Physically strong, comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Competitive about their own output — wants to earn more by doing more
- Dependable and consistent — shows up, works hard, and doesn't disappear at lunch
- Takes pride in doing the job right — a clean pull beats a fast, damaged one
What Experience Helps
- Experience dismantling, wrecking, or parting out vehicles in a salvage or automotive environment
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools to remove a wide range of vehicle components
- Knowledge of vehicle systems — where parts live and how they come apart
- Background in mechanical work, auto repair, or fleet maintenance is a plus
- Salvage yard or auto recycling experience is strongly preferred
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform physical, outdoor work throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license preferred
Benefits (After 60 Days)
- Dental, and Vision Insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay
Let's Be Honest About This Role
- This is outdoor, physical work — heat, grease, and heavy parts are part of the job
- Production pay means your paycheck reflects your effort — strong performers earn more
- Speed matters, but damaged pulls cost everyone — quality and pace go hand in hand
