COMPANY
REVO Ground was founded in 2006 and is a contractor exclusively for FedEx Ground.
We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join REVO for local runs based out of Troutdale, OR. The ideal candidate is a safe and reliable driver; experience working for a FedEx contractor is a plus!
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
- Company dedicated/assigned local run; home daily
- Expect about 2,200 miles per week
- Dispatches at 8pm, return by 7am
- No-touch freight
- Paid weekly via Direct Deposit
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Practice safe driving at all times; obey driving laws.
- Complete pre and post-trip inspections during every shift.
- Ensure trucks are cleaned at the end of each shift.
- Professionally represent the company when at customer’s warehouses and interacting with anyone in the facility.
- Report to work on time; provide ample notice to supervisor if unable to work.
- Actively communicate with supervisor and customer on job-related matters when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 1 yr. of tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 yrs., or 5 yrs. of experience in the last 10 yrs.
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Doubles Endorsement
- Active DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record, background record, and drug screen
- At least 21 years of age.
- Current or former FedEx Ground driver, preferred.
WORK DEMANDS
- Work is performed driving a tractor (95%) and at waiting at a terminal (5%).
- Subject to sitting for a long period of time, up to 11 hours per day including repetitive arm movements, climbing into and out of a tractor.
- May be subject to occasional pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 70 lbs. due to conversion of dollies to build double trailer sets and/or attachment of tire chains during snow seasons.
