Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Assist with product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and retail math calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
Skills
- Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers.
- Previous supervising experience is a plus.
- Ability to conduct product demos effectively to engage customers.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to create appealing product displays.
