Pay: $30,000–$45,000 per year, based on experience and skills
Revix is seeking a dependable, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve our manufacturing facility in Farmville, Virginia.
We take pride in handling maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements in-house. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with tools, figuring out how things work, and completing projects from start to finish.
You’ll play an active role in keeping our building and surrounding property safe, organized, and working properly. The right person will bring practical skills, a willingness to learn, and the initiative to identify what needs attention and get it done.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general building maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Complete painting, surface preparation, drywall repairs, and basic carpentry.
- Handle plumbing repairs and electrical maintenance within your experience and training.
- Maintain doors, hardware, fixtures, and other building components.
- Complete facility setup, renovations, and improvement projects.
- Inspect the building and surrounding property, identify maintenance needs, and address issues before they become larger problems.
- Research repair methods, identify needed parts and materials, and follow projects through to completion.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Help keep the interior and exterior of the facility clean and well maintained.
What You’ll Bring
- Practical experience in building maintenance, construction, repairs, or a related trade.
- Confidence using hand tools and common power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
- A willingness to learn new skills and handle a variety of maintenance tasks.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete quality work.
- Dependability, consistent attendance, and reliable transportation.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
Experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, carpenter, construction worker, or facility maintenance worker is welcome. We value resourcefulness, a strong work ethic, and pride in a job done well.
Pay and Benefits
