We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time On-Call Air Duct Cleaning Technician (Training provided). This is a crucial role responsible for providing high-quality residential and commercial air duct and HVAC system cleaning services.
Please note: This is a part-time, on-call position with highly sporadic and variable hours. Scheduling will be entirely dependent on client demand and may involve irregular hours, including potential evenings or weekends. Ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule and a strong commitment to professional service whenever called upon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations (residential and commercial).
- Perform thorough cleaning of HVAC system components, including air ducts, vents, and coils, using specialized equipment.
- Set up and operate commercial vacuum systems and portable cleaning equipment.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional demeanor and quality workmanship.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to cleaning and system inspection to ensure no steps are missed.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of tools and comfort with operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical equipment.
- Experience with Power Tools: Demonstrated proficiency and safety in handling various power tools (e.g., drills, air tools, specialized cleaning equipment)
- Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various conditions, including tight spaces, attics, and crawlspaces.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Reliable Transportation: To commute to work when scheduled in a timely manner.
- Customer Service Orientation: Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of work.
