About the Role:
Revive Treatment Centers is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL. Clinic is open 5:30 am to 12:30 pm and 8:30 - 12:30 on Sunday. Expected hours : three days a week, 12-18 hours total per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in substance abuse treatment programs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychoeducational groups
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical staff, case managers, and social workers
- Connect clients with community resources and support systems for continued recovery
Requirements:
- Active CADC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent Illinois state licensure or certification
- Prior experience in substance abuse, addiction counseling, or behavioral health settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation
- Strong clinical documentation and case management skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication, empathy, and crisis intervention skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a part-time schedule
