Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our hospice care team. The CHHA will provide personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes during end-of-life care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Support comfort care under the direction of the hospice nurse
- Maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
- Active CHHA certification in California
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous hospice or home care experience preferred
- Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor
Job Types: Contract, Per diem
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
