Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, BA in Health Care Administration preferred
- At least 2 years experience in health care
- Interested in becoming a Nursing Home Administrator or already enrolled in a state approved AIT program.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check.
- Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Position Summary: Participate in weekly and/or daily update meetings with the Administrator, to update the status of issues and agree on next steps or actions taken. Assists in overseeing the daily operation of departments under the direct supervision of the Administrator. Ensures compliance with internal norms, rules, and procedures as well as any applicable regulations and laws. Serves as backup or substitute for Administrator on occasion in meetings with other employees or outside parties.Schedule and participate in departmental meetings. Assist in the recruitment and retention of key personnel.
