Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician (Part-Time)
Revive Recovery Center located in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. Revive Recovery Center is an outpatient treatment center providing innovative, accessible and compassionate clinical care to individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorder.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing client care and support to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed mental health and medical professionals in the delivery of care to clients.
- Provide support and guidance to clients during their recovery process.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any concerns to the treatment team.
- Facilitate psycho-educational groups for clients on topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, and self-care.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments and 12 step meetings.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
- Collaborate with treatment team members, including therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the behavioral health field.
- Certification as a Peer Support or equivalent is preferred.
- Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and understanding of evidenced-based treatment approaches.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact in a professional manner with patients, families, and treatment team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be minimum 21 years of age.
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass drug screening.
- Must be able to climb up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25 lbs
- DPS fingerprint clearance card (preferred- may be required to obtain)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)
This is a part-time position, including evenings and possibly some weekends.
