Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, as well as the ability to work with various materials and tools in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.
• Utilize sheet metal techniques to repair or replace damaged sections of vehicles.
• Conduct auto restoration projects, bringing classic and vintage cars back to life.
• Assemble vehicle components and ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Execute automotive repair tasks, including mechanical repairs as needed.
• Apply auto painting techniques to achieve a flawless finish on repaired surfaces.
• Use soldering skills for metal repairs and modifications.
• Replace or repair auto glass as required for vehicle safety and aesthetics.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the repair process.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about repairs and timelines.

Skills

• Proficient in auto body repair techniques with a strong attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in sheet metal work and its application in vehicle repairs.
• Experience in auto restoration processes, including understanding of classic car components.
• Ability to assemble various automotive parts accurately.
• Familiarity with general automotive repair practices is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.24 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplemental Pay:
