Job Overview
As a Lounge Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Duties
- Prepare food and drink items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate Clover POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the lounge area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces and bathroom care
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth lounge operations
Skills
- Previous experience in food service environments is preferred
- Familiarity with Cover POS systems is a plus
- Culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and handling
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Experience in kitchen operations or restaurant settings is advantageous
