What you’ll do
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines and heavy equipment to identify issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and alignment checks.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and hydraulic components effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate parts as needed for specific repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair.
- Familiarity with tractor trailers diagnostics and electrical systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working roadside
- Knowledge of air brake systems, transmissions, suspension systems, and HVAC components.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks.
