Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and or refrigerated trailers. If you have a passion for driving and ensuring timely deliveries, we want to hear from you. Duties
- Operate a variety of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, Automated Transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks (preferred but not all apply).
- Safely transport freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Oversee the loading and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to optimize routes for efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
- Familiarity with various truck types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated units (preferred but not all apply).
- Experience in route driving and delivery driver roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading purposes is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols is essential.
