We are a concrete & excavation business in Pullman, WA, seeking an experienced concrete finisher & operator to join our crew. Experience in commercial and residential foundations & flatwork is required. As an experienced concrete finisher & operator, you play a crucial role in the success of Revival. You will provide experience and knowledgeability to accomplish many different projects. Your expertise, experience in the field, and commitment to quality workmanship will contribute to the company's reputation for excellence in the construction industry.
Schedule:
- 10 hour shifts
- Monday to Thursdays, Fridays as needed
- No weekends
- Overtime
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with department manager to accomplish many different concrete and excavation projects
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping poured concrete using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds, as well as power tools
- Prepare forms, setup forms, and install rebar prior to concrete installation
- Safely move heavy objects to prepare project sites
- Read blueprints and construction plans
- Assist other skilled trades like carpentry or masonry on various projects
- Operate heavy equipment to prepare sites for concrete
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
- 5-10 years of concrete and excavation trade-related experience
- Knowledge on rebar installation, concrete forms, and masonry work
- Pour, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools
- Smooth and finish surfaces in a variety of finishes
- Read and follow blueprints, grade stakes, and project specifications
- Apply textures, sealers, and curing compounds to customer’s specifications
- Perform concrete repairs and patchwork
- Operate and maintain concrete finishing equipment
- Collaborate with a crew and project management staff to complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Dependable and punctual
- Mechanical knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- A CDL license is advantageous
Experience Required:
- Concrete: 5-10 years trade related experience (Required)
- Excavation: 5-10 years trade related experience (Required)
- Flatwork: Sidewalks, driveways, patios, foundations, and slabs
- Heavy Equipment: Excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, rollers, and other construction equipment
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
