Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Oversee project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and adjusting plans as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a secure work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and perform cost control activities to keep projects financially on track.
- Supervise on-site personnel, providing clear direction, supervising work quality, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Review contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements to ensure compliance with project scope and legal requirements.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify workmanship meets specified standards; address issues promptly to prevent delays.
- Utilize construction site experience to troubleshoot issues proactively, including the use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety records, inspection reports, and communication logs for transparency and accountability.
Skills
- Proven track record in construction site supervision with strong management and supervising experience.
